Malia Meenderman, Realtor

Being lucky enough to be born and raised in the town of Kailua on the island of Oahu has given Malia Meenderman an innate and unique insight into life in Hawaii.  Growing up in a home where both parents were in the real estate field has given her extensive knowledge of the inner workings of helping her clients.  Prior to obtaining her Hawaii real estate license in 1999, she earned her degree from Pennsylvania State University in Landscape Architecture and prior to that graduated from the prestigious Punahou School in Honolulu and also attended grade school at Le Jardin a private school with a focus in French located in Kailua.

Since graduating from college, Malia has been fortunate enough to travel extensively including being able to live in Europe for a year and modeling while over there.  Traveling is definitely a passion of hers.  Ask her about her trip last year to Mauritius, a small island in the Indian Ocean next to Madagascar. Her traveling has allowed her to be exposed to many different cultures, customs and languages.

After studying and acquiring her real estate broker’s license in the state of Hawaii, Malia Meenderman formed Bonnebaker LLC. As an agent and as Principal Broker, she has built her reputation as being extremely diligent in serving her clients; having endless energy and focus; and offering total commitment to her  work.  She listens carefully to discern which neighborhood on Oahu would best suit her clients’ needs and lifestyle and continually educating her clients on the ever changing face of the Hawaii real estate market.  All the while studying and furthering her knowledge.  She has worked in the real estate industry here for over 15 years and therefore has extensive historical knowledge and expertise to offer and is very fortunate to have many repeat clients as a result. She works primarily in east and windward Oahu in neighborhoods such as Diamond Head, Kahala, Kailua and Lanikai, but is very familiar with all parts of the island.  Her clients come to her from all parts of world including The Netherlands, Germany, the United Kingdom, Canada, Japan, China, and the Philippines as well as many states in the mainland U.S. including California, Nevada, Washington, New York and Massachusetts.  She has been fortunate enough to have worked with first time home buyers to celebrities looking for a second home and entrepreneurs and hedge funds looking for an investment. Furthermore, it does not matter if you are the CEO of a Fortune 500 company or buying your first home Malia is very discrete.

When not selling real estate or traveling, you may find Malia surfing off of Waikiki on her stand up paddle surf board or reading a book.
