Lanikai beachfront home

As a result of the economic downturn, there are some interesting deals to be had not just on Lanikai Beachfront, but all around the island including Kailua, Kahala, and Diamond Head.   I am starting to see some sales that have become attractive buys.  This is not only in price, but location as well. Everyone who knows Lanikai and Kailua beaches knows the right spots to be in along the bay.  Take for example 1226 Mokulua Drive in Lanikai.  The home, while built in 1939, is in great condition.  The home sits on a 18,376 square foot parcel at the very end of the sandy beach in Lanikai, which is becoming more and more rare.  There are only 32 beachfront parcels out of the 92 total ocean front parcels in Lanikai.
